    SCIA and BVI IAC strengthen arbitration collaboration

    TheShenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) and the British Virgin Islands International Arbitration Centre (BVI IAC) signed an agreementon Jan 11 2024 to bolster international arbitration cooperation between Shenzhen and BVI, jointly providing professional, efficient and convenient dispute resolution services to enterprises from both regions.

    The two parties organized the “SCIA-BVI IAC Conference: Arbitration Strategies for Disputes Relating to BVI IBC”, focusing on international companies in BVI and international arbitration procedures. Renowned experts in offshore transactions from prestigious law firmssuch as Rede Chambers, Campbells, Ogier, Conyers and Han Kun Law Offices were invited to delve into prevalent disputes in offshore investments, the selection of dispute resolution mechanisms, exemplary cases and more. The conference attractedmore than 100 participants, including arbitrators, in-house counsels, lawyers, and scholars, engaging both online and offline.
