    Shenzhen + Tashkent: China and Uzbekistan Deepen Cooperation in International Arbitration

    On 30 October 2023,at the First China (Kashi)-Central&South Asia Forum on the Rule of Law,organized by the Law Society of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the Guangdong Law Society and the China Legal Exchange Center, co-organized by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (hereinafter as“SCIA”) and otherinstitutions, SCIA signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement on International Arbitration with Tashkent International Arbitration Centre (hereinafter as“TIAC”) of Uzbekistan. The two parties will deepen the cooperation between China and Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries in international commercial dispute resolution through joint promotion, training, provision ofhearing-room services to each other, and the establishment of the “SCIA-TIAC” Hearing Center, so as to serve the economic and trade exchanges of countries along the Belt and Road.


    SCIA and TIAC have a long-term and close cooperation. Diana Bayzakova,Director of TIAC, paid a visit to SCIA in 2019, she said TIAC will devoted themselves toexplore new areas of cooperation between the two countriesin arbitration together with SCIA.
